1979 Pearson 424

Saint Clair Shores, Michigan

$63,900

WOW WOW WOW !!!

Yes this is a three alarm boat. Both the surveyor with 60 years in the sport and myself with 51 years got off "Venture" and said WOW. If you are looking to go "coral crushing" put your coffee cup down, grab your check book and get to Detroit, you will have not wasted your time. This is an estate sale for the 94 year old doctor that sailed her until his 92nd year and just loved it, in all regards.

Brokers Notes

"Venture" has been owned for the last 32 years by a retired doctor that has kept her in yacht condition, all the teak is varnished and done well! The sails are up to date as are the electronics for the mast part. The 60 hp Westerbeke has 544 YES 544 hours on it, suffice to say she has been a gentlemen's day sailor, but could you head south with her this spring YES. Covid stopped him and her in their tracks, stored inside and covered "Venture" is one of those rare boat yard finds, remarkable is an understatement. Don't miss a great opportunity!!!
